So, she reminded me of that well-known true story of A Bowl of Noodle Soup which was seen from the news media all over Taiwan back in 2006. Those five children centered from the story who one day went to a noodle shop for a bite to eat, but they could only afford to have just one bowl of noodle soup, so they’ve gratefully ate half of bowl of this noodle soup and carefully left the rest of the half specially for their seriously ill mother who was at her end-stage cancer at the hospital. So that very moving image of those five children surrounded their ill mother with the most innocent smiles and hopeful eyes which had completely captivated our hearts and filled our eyes with emotional tears that we were so deeply felt for those children.

After the news came out, countless kind people had contributed their helps to this loving family who was in dire straits and desperately in needs of help.

Eleven years has gone by, those five children grew up and became all quite capable of making a good living. It was also because of those countless kind people’s generosity those years ago so those five children from the bowl of noodle soup received their chances to make it in life.

Now back in the present, there are still many stories like this little girl playing alone at the park who I happily had met and completely captivated my heart with her tiny grateful heart and pure happy spirit.
